I will pursue my PhD degree in Chemistry in University of Wisconsin-Madison. The normal length of the study is about 60 months. Throughout these five years, my study and research will be focused on Mass Spectrometry. The time arrangement of the Ph.D program in Chemistry is listed as follow:

First Year (2011-2012),
I would like to put most effort of my first year on studying core courses and teaching. I will also attend seminars. Besides, I will select Professor Lingjun Li ot Professor Joshua J. Coon as my graduate research director and attend all the discussions in his/her group.

Second Year (2012-2013),
I will join a research group and do some preliminary research. I will then finish my graduate research proposal under the instruction of my research advisor. This proposal will probably be related to my preliminary research.

Third and forth year (2013-2015)
According to my research proposal, I will carry out my research plan, arrange detailed experiments, analyze the results and modify the schemes. High quality research papers are expected to be published on international academic journals during this period.
Fifth year (2015-2016),
At the beginning of this year, I will finish most of my graduate research. Then, I will focus on my graduate dissertation and degree defense. I will also pay attention to the Chinese job market and find position as a professional researcher. I will go back to China as soon as I finish my graduate study program.

1.Because in my impression, regorous is the outstanding quality of Germen, which I think is the most important quality I need in my study and helps me a lot.
2.That is a part of what I plan for my future. In my opinion, this subject is both a source of study and of pleasure. And of course I really want to explore in this aspect.
3.In three words: study, explore,communicate. I would like to study exisiting knowledge and to explore in it with my own view and thought. What's more, I really want to communicate with my partners to explore more in this subject.

As we Chinese says, there is no boundry for study. So I would like to study during my work. In this process, I hope I can find more.
