一道有争议的高中英语选择题，求高手进！
选A. 因为提问中的that指的可能不是妈妈本人，可能是照片，所以选A最稳妥。
这个涉及到Should的一个特殊用法，即可以表命令。就是不能让这个人参加，命令他不能参加。你懂了吗？

如果选择 as much as of that，那么补全后为——

那么，名词 The money 和介词短语 of that 就不属于同类项。虽然 that 还是指代 the money，但是介词 of 成了赘词。因此。选择 D 是错误的。
D。这个句子的主语是the money,钱就跟钱来比啊，所以as much as 后面应该是名词，（D选项打错了吧？）D中的that of ten years就是个名词结构啊。
选C。我认同你老师的说法。 前面the money（钱） 后面是ten years ago关键有个ago在，不然的话就选择D了。
我认为是选D，不过D选项的内容好像是有点问题的
The money spent on social insurance last year was four times (as much as ) ten years ago.
选择c.
解释：第一个as为副词，第二个as为连词，as much as后加比较状语从句“it was ten years ago”，如果省略了it was后就剩下ten years ago.

应该选A。as 要加完整的句子，如果选B，要改成 as they were told。因为as的主语与前面的主语相同，所以省略了主语和系动词，构成as told 结构。
