我去年也写翻译的.问题是你说的范围太大，应该先在翻译里选一个点，比如"定语从句的翻译" 或某篇什么东东的翻译,不然还真无从下手.
如果是本科，其实翻译是最好写的。因为文学太宽泛，语言学太深奥和刻板
