above 和over都可以表示位置、地位、数量（表示“超出”这意）等。表示位置时，above指笼统的上方，over指垂直的上方，有“覆盖”的意思。
个人认为选over。
1. above“在...之上”， 表示位置之高。只是笼统的说“在...之上”，并不一定会有“在...之上”之意。其反义词为below.
eg. His office is above ours.
2. over 和above不同， 表示垂直向上。比较精确，其反义词为under。
eg. The lamp is over the table.
all the way 是一个固定搭配，意思是整个一路，这里面有the，是特指的一条路，all代表的意思不是很多路，而是“整个”这条特指的路。如果要表达很多条路这个意思，那里面不能有the，应该是all ways那才对。
选bamboos 语法上没有错误，但除了语法，我们在做题的时候还要进行语义分析，看看句子到底要表达什么意思，不能说合语法的全选上吧。题目的意思说的是某些种类的bamboo比小手指还细，也就是说这些种类的bamboo长成熟了也就那么粗。如果选B的话意思是有的bamboo比小指头细，那不就成废话了吗，小竹子当然会比小指头细。说实话这题还真可以选B，因为bamboo也可以指种类，bamboos可以指某些种类，但是要知道这是中国的英语考试，所以，还是按照考试的要求来答题吧，没办法。
第三题B C意思没区别，答案选D， 其他三项都没有冠词啊，distance是需要冠词的。
