I'd like to talk about my cousin Wang Bing. He's 18 now and in his last year of highschool.
For a start, he has a sad family background. His parents got divorced when he was a baby and he's been living with his dad since. The lack of motherly love and his dad's low income didn't exactly give him a fairy-tale-like childhood. He didn't have all kinds of new toys or nice new clothes.
He's been very close with me since we were kids. We live nearby so I used to go play at his place all the time. I remember he was always asking me to tell him interesting stories. We used to play basketball a lot too. He's quite tall for his age - already same height as I am, and he's always been a good basketball player.
Maybe because of his special childhood experience, he is much more mature and understanding than the spoiled kids. He studies hard and as a result he always is one of the best students in school. He's studying especially hard now, as he's taking the college tests next year. Like the Chinese saying "Poor kids hold up the family early", I believe my cousin will sure grow up to be a useful and contributive person. I'm truly proud of him.
The person I'm to talk about is my cousin Wang Bing.He is 18 this year and is in Grade 3 of senior high school.

Now I usually go his home to see him, to help him solve some problems encountered in learning. There is a good saying, "the poor children as early as Alone", I believe that my cousin will be a useful material in the future, I am proud of him.
